Why do only normal draft games count? I understand completely giving ranked restrictions and all that it entitles, but blind pick should contribute equally to the counter.
Can someone explain to me?

It's the gameplay and the pressure of LP gain/loss that creates the toxic atmosphere where when things go wrong, people are more likely to care and get upset about these things than they are in normals. The draft pick environment is not the cause of that pressure.

No idea why you're banned from ranked for being toxic anyways. Would much rather shitters get temp banned from ranked to go learn how to not be a shitter. Would make people a lot less toxic.

Regardless, there are plenty of psychological benefits to maintaining as much similarity to the Ranked experience as possible, so Riot has chosen to do such.
