The Cost of Champions

So, I plan to save up for 3 champs. One costs 3150, the other 4800, and the last 6300.

-That's 14,250 IP

-That's 142.5 Wins (Not counting FWotD)

-That's 285 Hours (Assuming each game lasts around 30 minutes)

-That's playing 11.875 days straight Or -Playing 57 Five Hour Sessions

It'll take me over 2 months to get all three champions......item 3070 Amumu item 3070

I understand League is a free game, so there's no need for any of those comments. I just want to share my struggle. The Grind Is Real

Even longer if you want runes for them. Such is the way of "F2P." You either grind your dick off or pay out the ass. Fun fun fun.

I seriously know your pain man. While I have spent IRL money to buy some champs (mainly in bundles cause I liked their skins). I have ground out a ludicrous amount of hours to get the champs I want. Believe me, you're not alone in the struggle man. I do wish a lot of the champs were cheaper in terms of cost of IP so our grind wouldn't be so lofty, but I understand the model. I also have noticed that I seem to be getting less IP now than I did a couple months back. I have a question for you now, do you think Riot has restructured their IP algorithms to give out less IP? That's what it feels like. Just something I'm curious about. Not only that, the cost of full rune pages. The grind in every aspect is daunting. But once completed, satisfying.

It's especially difficult to buy new champions and complete your runes at the same time. I've just hit 30 with this account yesterday and I just have a few champions, some of my runes are missing and when I complete the runes (to get ready for serious pvp) I won't be able to buy new champions for a long time. This somehow makes you consider buying champions with RP. (Which must be a strategy) I am not even mentioning buying a new rune page. (6300 ip for the page, come on!)
