How to tell which Jungle item to build.

I main Rek'Sai, and I am looking for advice from experienced players (more knowledgeable) about when to purchase Stalkers over Skirmishers or Trackers. This is my mind set to it.

Wanting to get fed/tankier early =item 3715 . With the smite true damage, my Q destroys early on and also almost guarantees a flash or kill on ganks. High mobility team =item 3706 . With the slow/movement speed boost, it gives me a better chance to knock enemies up without needing to flash for that extra few pixels. Cheesy junglers like Shaco, Shyvanna, Lee = item 3711 . Knowing where the jungler is is valuable information, especially if he is constantly counter jungling.

I've been doing poorly with itemization in this area, but as I was thinking about it last night after a game I decided to figure out which item is best. Last season I played about 200 games (170 or so ranked) on Rek'Sai and really only ever bought Stalkers. This season, I've been using Skirmishers with some pretty good results and was just curious if there are better options into certain matchups.

I would say get the ward item on every single jungler so you can get the red trinket for double vision utility like the supports. Unless you have a very good reason to believe that you can hard carry the game, the extra personal damage generally doesn't add up to the vision utility which helpful for the whole team. However, if you are a bruiser jungler and the enemy team was stupid enough to pick nothing but squishies, then even I would go for more damage.

Personally I have been building chill smite to guarantee easier ganks but tracker seems just to useful to ignore. Wards are so scarce in games now it seems to be a viable choice team wise.

If you play your ganks right, you shouldn't ever need item 3706 to get on top of them. I almost always go item 3715 for the extra damage and dueling power, it's not ignorable.
