"The Price of runes is a pain-point for new players"
Shovels that pain-point into champion and other costs
Can't wait to see how much a new champion costs on release, oh boy...

Champions are a lot more exciting to work towards than "+4.5% Movement Speed" or "0.81% CDR per Level", at least.
To this day movespeed runes are the most useful things I silent IP on.
What makes them good is you can use them on any champion with any build and get plenty of use out of them.
Best way not to be hit? Be faster than they are :D
Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. The IP has to go somewhere, so unless Riot adds another piece of content available for IP/RP it'll have to be eaten up by champions.
IP for champion announcer packs incoming :^))))))
Hextech let's hope
It'll probably turn into HotS or something. Major reason I've never gotten into it for longer than a week is the stupid costs.
They probably won't considering it does take a considerable time already to get all the champions without buying any with RP.
they're raising champ costs?
They said the IP/Time sink has to be offset by something else now that Runes are free
I think Smite has costs thats like 11k for each champ and that turned me off from it especially when I had to rebuy gods for ps4 rather than me transferring them from the xb1
