I honestly don't think ahri is a spectacular champion
I find that all around fizz is better he does more damage with less CD, once her ult is down she has no escape and dies easily whereas with fizz I can use playful trickster every 10 seconds.

Spectacular? No, not really, but pretty solid and a decent teamfighter. Her R can be used for escape + parting shots.
she allows for more catch potential than fizz does with her charm, and orb of deception.
She Is a playermaker, and that's why she is so good. Her Charm literally can win fights. You pick off a target with that thing, and it's a 4v5. Similar to how thresh and blitzcrank pulls can change fights.
