I hate crafting because it always confuses me but I love free stuff. I have no idea what I am supposed to do during the project week or what I am trying to get. Is it just an icon or can I obtain something more?
You can obtain 4 icons for the price of 2250 IP.

"During the first week of PROJECT, purchase each of the EM Caster, Decrypter, and Hyper Edge icons for 750 IP or 75 RP to receive three PROJECT caches. During the second week, you can also purchase the Disruption icon and cache for 1500 IP/150 RP. Purchasing all four gives you the following total content:
3 First Strike Icon Blueprints 10 PROJECT Cores 1 FREE Augment Cache (by forging 3 Augment Cache Fragments) 2 leftover Augment Cache Fragments PROJECT: Overdrive Skin Shard Blueprint (to unlock an older PROJECT skin shard)
This means you have enough PROJECT cores to complete either one First Strike Icon Blueprint OR an older PROJECT skin shard. You'll also have two out of three Augment Cache Fragments toward another free cache. Augment Caches have a chance to contain a fragment, so it's possible to find a third fragment in your free cache!"
