Is champion mastery only based on experience?

Is the new champion master only based on the number of games you play with a champion? Or does it take into account other factors? I know things like Lolskill take into account wins, kills, deaths, assists, gold, cs, games played with champ, and rank.

Number of games, how well you perform with said champion are the key factors. I think a riot post said if you do average with a champion it'll take about 20 games to level up.

Meh, so it really isn't how well you do with the champ at all, but rather how much you play them. Kind of disappointed lol. All it will lead to is people playing champs they don't know because "gotta get mastery on all champs!!"....making me lose more ranked games lol.

Not exactly. The key point is how well your team perfoms while you play that champ.

All winners get the same mastery points which is about ten times the mastery points the loosers get.

So it doesn't matter if you contributed to the game or were dragging them down you get the same points.

I guess, just like ranked, over several games the team factor will have less effect though makes it more accurately based on you.

Don't think this is correct. Higher 'grade' translates to more points, doesn't it?

Still yeah, either way, accumulating mastery points is largely about spamming games more than anything else. You can max out faster if you win more(/perform better?) but everyone will get there in the end.
