Normal games have such horribly balanced matchmaking. Challenger players can get matched with bronze players. teams of all plat players can be matched against teams of silver. Its not fun nor fair to have such poorly matched games.
being bronze does not mean you are bad at the game i played ranked when i first started playing because i was dumb then and i got bronze i haven't touched it since then and i got bronze this placements even tho i did great in it because it takes into account your ranks for the previous seasons. as a i told you in your previous post i a have plat - diamond mmr in normals and having my ranked mmr would completely ruin my normals mmr even tho in your case it would benefit you i feel like it should just take the one you have higher and use that for both
The problem with this is that either playing normal games increases your ranked MMR, which is not how it should work, or winning normal games doesn't increase your MMR, which means people will get more and more mismatched if they don't play ranked.
What you propose would result in more badly mismatched normal games, not less.
