I shouldn't lose LP when i afk

This isnt a fair system of rankings. If i go afk, i shouldnt lose lp because i never finished the match, so how can they assume i wasnt better than my opponents?

Sometimes people have things to do, and shouldnt be losing mmr for not finishing their games. I really should be much higher elo.
