Sugguestion to help Negative Attitude

Add in an program like AFK tracking program that tracks people who spam the surrender button. People who spam it a lot give them a warning. If they continue to do it then follow up with further punishment.

Also make it so in ranked if you click "yes" to surrender than you will lose extra LP. Make it so surrendering is a last resort so people will actually try their hardest in ranked instead of just giving up so easily.

Make a BIG announcement of it and talk about how you want players to try their best in a game to inspire players but to give people a bit more thought before surrendering. This would help fix A LOT of negative attitude in games I believe.

I think people who hit "no" to surrender votes on losing games should lose more LP. They're clearly just trying to ruin their teammates' gaming experience.

And those that quit all the time are not? If you plan on using that crutch as an excuse to your horseshit play so you can go do it in another game you need to stop playing competitive games.

The surrender button should be used rarely, meaning if you suck at the game either get better or GTFO loser.

Quite the opposite, actually. It's usually my teammates that play shit, feed all over the place, and then expect me to carry them instead of surrendering. I'm sorry, but when all 3 of you outside bot lane feed, it's over. The season 4 meta is gone, by popular demand. I can't 1v5 carry you, and I'm not going to get stressed out trying to.

"You" and "Your" was being used as a general term but you must have an insecurity about something as you responded.

I never surrender because surrender is for quiters if I surrender I have 0 chance of winning. If I continue to try I have a small chance of winning at the very least.

giving up a little too early isn't indicative of a negative attitude, at least the way I see it. I see negative attitude more as just being rude and mad. you don't have to be optimistic about every game, but you should never start flaming your teammates, or AFK'ing because you are mad.

Also, the surrender button shouldn't be a penalized thing. I know, sometimes in ranked people give up way too early, sometimes people who are just frustrated and angry would rather not continue playing and will insist on a surrender. But that shouldn't penalize players who play respectively and might want to surrender a game that they think they are pretty much sure to lose.

Saying GG after first blood is rude and ignorant, but surrendering at 20 when the score is 22-3 makes a lot of sense. People shouldn't fear the surrender button, but they should know when it is appropriate to use it.

So as you can see based on the definition of negative yes it means exactly as i described

Now ranked is a place to play your very hardest and your best NOT a place to be a quiter and to give up. Some very bad games CAN be turned around teams throw it even happens in pro games. Now to just give up is being negative. Ever heard the saying "negative nancy" being a quieter is being a negative nancy "we can't win" "we stand no chance" "whats the point" "just surrender" this is negtive nancy stigma and I've lost more games because of this than anything else.

oh and being rude or mad that is under harassement if they are verbal about it towards other players. If they are just mad and a quiter that is negative attitude.
