Happened to me last season. I was Silver IV and was at like 15 points and lost 9, but got demoted. Like wtf?

Idk how it works. I had lost 3 games at 0 LP, then won 2. Then lost once more and got demoted. I was in Silver V for the rest of that season though.

when i got demoted from s4 to s5, i had to go through 4 provisional, (most of which i lost due to 4v5) , then i lost one game in s4 and got demoted, then literally had 5 4v5 games in a row. System is bs
