Champion.gg - League of Legends Stats by Champion Role for the Current Patch

This is the list of current 46 meta mid laners and their win rate. If you find Veigar and Kassadin in the list you will see just how bad these changes were for them. For kassadin just lowering his ult range from 700 to 450 moved him 29 places down to the bottom with the lowest win rate of 36%. Veigar didn't move as much but he did move. He moved 19 places down to third to last with a win rate of 38%. Now is it just me, or is anyone else asking when veigar is going to get his compensation buffs for the removal of DFG. Honestly, if they just remove the delay imo, veigar will be able to get a win again.

Veigar and Kassadin lowered to trash tier champs?

Good, no one really liked them anyway.

Champions change

Players would rather complain than adapt.

he is more of a late-game champ now. Sure, it is fun to wreck house sometimes with an OP champ, but how fun is it for other people?

I've asked this multiple times of multiple people. I see many people claiming that Riot stated they were buffing Veigar, but I can't find any statement to that effect. I have seen where they claimed they were going to "look into" him (and Morde), but I haven't seen where they said they were going to buff him specifically.

So, would you mind sharing where they said that, and helping alleviate my confusion?

It hasn't even been a week yet. You need to allow time for people to get used to the new required play styles of these champions. Kass' new ult range means you can't play him the same way. You have to take more things into consideration before engaging when your out isn't as reliable. Veigar now has a skill shot that people need to adjust to and the event horizon change means you need to take your opponent's mobility into account instead of just dropping it on top of them.

Personally, I think the new event horizon is probably a crippling nerf in League of Mobility and riftwalk's range was decreased too much, especially when you have Ahri, LeBlanc, Zed etc go completely untouched. However, there hasn't been enough time since the changes to use winrates as evidence. Give it another week or two and revisit those numbers
