Won all promos, placed bronze.

First off, I didn't win all my promos and get placed bronze, it's just the basis of what I've seen. A lot of people complain about winning 10/10 promo games and getting placed 1 or 2 divisions lower than the season before. That math doesn't make sense, but do wins matter as much as your individual stats in a match?

If you win 10/10 and get C and B ranks for your grades, that's not going to look as good as losing 10/10 and managing S grades every match. Not sure how it works, but that's what makes sense to me. Some people can get carried through their promos, and because of their individual effort end up somewhere completely different than who they played all their promos with. Assuming that they both finished in the same div last season.

Any feedback on this?

Players tend to fall down the ladder upon season start (not sure why on this. perhaps decay, perhaps the nature of calibration fits all players between bronze to diamond and therefore there may be a downward shift from influx of masters/challenger players or maybe even just the reduced number of players playing at the start of season so its harder to ladder i.e. if you were 10th out of 100 players last season you'd be in plan but there could be only 50 players playing right now and there just happens to be 8 above you etc). Furthermore, the calibration at the start of season has minimal/small effect if you have a previous season MMR.

It's the scores that decide it, win rate and KDA don't effect the scores as much.
