Why must being on the losing side be so god damn aggravating?

It takes so much more effort to come back from behind than the winning team needs to expend to keep their advantage. Being on the losing side in this game is so god damn frustrating and I don't understand why people like it this way.

Um... who likes being on the losing side?

Losing is part of almost any game, and EVERY competition. Should people who get the advantage in the first place not be rewarded for it?

MOBAs are snowbally by nature. There would be no point to having different phases to the game if doing well early didn't give you advantages going into the mid/late game. Otherwise everyone would just pick hyperscaling late game champs and turtle until they were at full build.

Of course, how much advantage you should get is a matter of debate. It's a fine line to walk in terms of game balance.

The only time I find being on the losing side that painful is when my teammates allow the enemy to screw us over.

Me and some of my ADC buddies can give up three kills and still make it out even or sometimes winning. It doesn't happen every game, but not everyone knows how to press an advantage... Which is actually kind of sad sometimes.

It's not losing itself that's aggravating; it's the whole experience of slipping once, then having every thing you try to do to catch up or even the lane out for the next 10-15 minutes completely fail because the game is designed to give the person who killed you numerical superiority. Then their ALLIES prey on you and make it worse, and you end up wasting the next 40 minutes of your day in a game where no effort you give is worth a damn because you don't have the hard numbers to do anything worthwhile except maybe MAYBE soak up a death in place of one of your allies.

Being on the losing side in this game makes you a worthless pile of trash for 45 minutes of your life and it aggravates me.
