Come on guys, Riot's trying.....

No need to crucify the guys over a bad title for Morde. Go read the names of Dota 2's heros, they are literally: Antimage - Because hes an antimage Silencer - Because he silences Disrupter - Because he disrupts stuff

That's bad, that's lazy, and that deserves a little condemnation for lack of creativity and depth.

Morde got changed, and they are TRYING to do something for him. Did they fail? oh yeah, they failed horribly. But when a r%%%%%ed kid paints a picture the best he can, you don't tell him it sucks. You say thank you for the picture of the horse vagina and you move on.

What I'm really saying is that after Cass, Ryze, and Juggernauts,, we need to taper our expectations down to reality a little, and realize that, in all honesty, League is still better and more creative than its competitors.

It's just shocking that we can have one of the best champion reworks to ever exist (Sion) alongside arguably the worst to have ever made it past the drawing board (Mordekaiser). Given, those were done by different designers with different amounts of overall change and resources.

But the contrast between the two is so freaking huge that you're just left gaping in awe at how horribly fucked up it is.

It's like if instead of a retarded person, it were a world-famous impressionist artist that paints beautiful scenery and pastels. Then, for no reason, he just draws a penis. Like one a freshman in high school would draw on the bathroom stall. And then he publishes it in his art gallery next to his extremely well-detailed watercolor of a stormy day in the Scottish Highlands or something.

Yeah, the Scottish Highlands painting obviously required a hell of a lot more effort to make, but why'd he draw a penis and publish it? How is he capable of doing so horrible and so amazing at the same time??

Obviously, Riot (despite how most complaints are angled towards them) is not a single person. It's comprised of a huge number of individual, independently-thinking people who all have ideas that could potentially radically differ from each other. But that still doesn't really explain how the Morde rework got past the design phase, since anyone who knows anything about Morde (a lower number than people who know about Vayne, but still a pretty decent number) has some pretty harsh things to say about it.

If Riot could, for one time, just say, "Hey, sorry, we dun goofed. We're gonna think of a more in-depth rework next time," then Morde mains would at the very least be "somewhat disillusioned" instead of "flat-out angry"
