I'm new to Master Yi and I really do enjoy his play style and kit, I'm honestly curious how to build him a tad... Tankier. I don't mind losing a bit of damage, as long as I get a bit of tankiness in return, since I've noticed he can get 1 shotted here and there.
Any people have a good idea what to build? And when to build the item haha.

If you're in the Jungle, you go Bloodrazer, preferably the Challenging Smite, Bork, Cleaver, then get resistances. Spirit Visage and Deadman's Plate is best. Berzerker's Greaves for shoes.
I'm a yi main i have 2 to 3 builds but atm i prefer just one which is Cri yi with some 2 tanky items not in giving armor or mr even hp it just having it's passive as being tanky
My first Build:

(remember Blackcleaver give ya movement speed which is good for chasing with the ult nerf (plus CD 20% amazing for a all in one item)!! it's passive 30% armor pen stacking up boosting your bloodrazor damage since BR deals max hp% in phyiscal damage the best part is rushing this item early game also increases your true damage by adding ad to it if you know how yi E works so it's armor pen,CD,50AD,250 HP,adding movement speed amazing item).

will make ya super tanky you will not be brusted easily with blackcleaver and deathdance you will have 30% CD but if they have AP something like lb kennen i prefer getting 
instead of (!!!remember deathdance passive is 15% of the damage taken will be taken as bleed for 3 second in that moment you will life steal plus!!your Q will heal ya upon damaging anything with it.

if they have garen with thornmail or any tanky champion you will steal their magic resist and adding it to yours plus this build only agaisnt heavy AD team with only one mage mid lane.

if they have super hard CC like skarner or malzhar probably ww too.
there's other builds but i believe this one for ya because it solve yi Ult problem and remember to play as timing your alpha and neglect damage with ur W as veigar ult lee Q or ult since lee Q i believe it's a burst damage to yi vs him if you can mediate his Q then his ult will not deal massive damage upon missing health just an example for how to use ur abilities and never go without ur ult in a fight.
