I'm a Classic player - I've been around since mid-Season 2.

I still love the classic builds, and strategies and all that.

This is why I absolutely lose my sh*t when Riot creates a new item or items that break a champion and make older builds 2nd-tier or obsolete. Same as when Riot reworks a champion to the point that they can no longer operate with their classic build(s).

First Juggernauts. Now AD Carries.

They game I started playing just over 3 years ago now barely exists. AND RIOT ITSELF HAS CHANGED SO MUCH. The way they treat their community, the way they treat competitive LoL, the way they treat their game. It's become so much more corporate-based and fare less player-based. 3 years ago Chroma packs would have been earned, not bought. Shit like % HP True Damage would have remained unique to Vayne. And even the thematic side of champions wouldn't have taken itself so seriously. The last champion that I was excited about purely from an aesthetic and thematic standpoint was Jinx. Braum was a lovable champion as a result of his personality IN-GAME but his lore alone was pretty dark and serious.
