Riot: "We want to make playing support more interactive."

Welp, Galio is now out, and with him, you freaking succeeded, he is so much FUN, the dbl dash on his e, the taunt, the q for zoning, he actually feels like he's doing something no matter what's going on, and i love it. However, I do believe he should have some higher cool downs, because that constant cc train is pretty op atm, but that's just imo.

They partly succeeded. They didn't make the role more interactive and enjoyable as a whole, they just did it with one champion who really needed some tending to who just happens to be able to be played as a support. I can go into a game as support Soraka or Janna and still feel the same way as I did before the Galio rework. This doesn't really seem like a post about supports in general, just about Galio and his use as a support.

I do agree with you though about how how rework turned out. Although I've yet to actually play the new Galio, from what I've seen hes just as you explained: fun, enjoyable, and a sense of usefulness. They really did a good job with this rework :0

Maybe they should start by deleting sightstone...

Come on, we all know that item's kind of busted :/

edit: come on, nobody's telling me why it isn't. Most people advocate keeping it because it's strong for its price, it's kind of hard to deny when it's mandatory the point of being reported for not buying it (which junglers don't receive near the same flack for not always getting tracker's knife, and literally anyone else when it comes to buying wards at all). Go ahead, tell me I'm wrong... I'd rather have a changed perspective if someone can convince me otherwise, than watch as people bitch about the role not being as fun or popular as long as this crutch exists.
