Which item generates the most gold, Spellthief's Edge or Ancient Coin?

Before the recent Ancient Coin buffs, Spellthief Edge gave more gold, assuming you were constantly harassing the enemy ADC and sup, and/or was roaming often. Otherwise, Ancient Coin was a better choice.

I don't know if that is true anymore. Sometimes I play with Ancient Coin because I usually end up selling Spellthief's Edge for Talisman of Ascension late game anyway. Also, I play her in a more passive playstyle, I max E and try to focus on utility and tankyness.

This is not about Lulu, however. After the recent Ancient Coin buffs, I am in doubt of which item generates the most gold, taking into account the fact that you will harass the enemy laner.
