Since punishments keeps getting swifter and harder, players do nothing but try to bait you into saying something just to report you. Chat is more of a liability than a benefit at this point. I literally have PTSD from trying to communicate with my own team. Just remove the feature if you are going to monitor it like nazis and allow players to use it like a salem witch hunt.

Your assumption that i was raging about a punishment is indicative of your lack of insight. I haven't been punished, but every game i see people saying "report x" all game. I've been warned more times than i can count simply because everyone always reports everyone but i haven't even been punished. The game is turning into a report fest, with Riot leading the hunts.

Lugg1 votesWhile there are players that fit your description, the majority are really great people. I learned a lot about the game when I first started by chatting with higher ranking and more experienced players.
If you are having problems with someone, just mute them. Problem solved.
Grashnim1 votesYou can remove chat from your screen if you want. You can still chat, but you won't be able to see anything. You just exploit the UI. That being said, they'll never remove it for everyone.
