There is SOOOOOOOO many other champions out there and Riot literally picked Lux for an ultimate, seriously? Lux. Doesn't she already have like 1,000 skins. I'm happy for the Lux mains but holy crap, there was such a better choice out there then Lux and so much more potential.
At least my wallet is saved from buying the skin lol.
Edit: (I see the Lux mains are out to get me already) Ouch.
RavenHusky4 votesBecause Riot decided to give it to Lux this year. Also, out of the six skins Lux has, only two of them are any good, with Steel Legion being arguable at best depending on everyone's tastes.
Sukishoo2 votesMost people hated Steel Legion, that's why they rejoiced when Star Guardian was finally made lol. So with this new one coming up she'll have some more skins that should be awesome.. cause it's an Ultimate, it better be :D
RavenHusky3 votesI was one of those who hated Steel Legion, mainly due to the fact that it was Lux's third military skin in a row, as well as it being too dull for a Lux skin.
There are people who do like it, hence why I said it was arguably good, and the skin in a vacuum looks really cool. It just doesn't fit Lux as a character though.
Sukishoo3 votesYeah I personally didn't care for it either, but it is of a decent quality over all. Her military skins are just a bit boring really. So widening the fantasy on a champion with various skin types gives them something nicer :D
RavenHusky4 votesExactly. We have traditional mage skins with Sorceress and Spellthief, military with Commando, Imperial, and Steel Legion, we have the anime fantasy with Star Guardian, and now we will have something that displays Lux's mastery of magic with Elementalist.
So many skins, but very little variety, and Elementalist was very much needed in that regard.
Random sidenote: Lux also needs something that doesn't start with the letter s. :P

Star Guardian is only a 1350 and is just an effects update, model change, nothing really OUT THERE. Ultimate skins have evolving models (or changeable models), NEW VOICE OVER, new effects, completely new animations, ect. So there's a lot that will be done for this. She doesn't even have a Legendary skin, so that's one of the things that clearly goes as to why she got it. All of the others that have them didn't have Legendary skins, and they are all older champions from 2009/2010.
Viktor and Karth I agree need new skins but I dunno about Ultimate... maybe at least a 1350 to really see what kind of effects potential they can be given first.
