Ok srsly, why does Everyone think Akali is the most OP champ?
I really don't understand the mentality of league players alot of times. It's like the brain isn't hooked up at all for alot of people I play against. (This isn't a rant thread, just saying what it "seems" like.. )
Everytime I play akali everyone starts bitching she's so skilless and OP... she's really not. 1 vision ward gg...
Literally every assassin has 50 different ways to peel themselves away from cc, even hard cc, isn't hindered the milisecond they're spotted, and has insane burst just like akali when they get a few kills.
Literally the only complaint I've heard about Akali is "she's easy to get OP damage after a few kills".. yea so is every other assassin, yet they don't bitch zed, shaco, leblanc are OP... The only real Assassin I hear about is Nidalee for "omg so skilless and OP gg, scrub". comments.
In-fact, the very reason people claim Zed isn't OP, is the same reason they say Akali is OP..... -brain overload-
That reason being, that he needs to get a good early game, or he'll fall off quickly.. Literally exactly the same as Akali, but unlike Akali, it's far easier to get fed and kills with zed. His overloaded kit revolving around the shadows, and.. well we've all played as, and against zed no reason to explain.
"Akali is so OP cuz she can stealth and do huge burst"... Yea, so can Shaco.. yet Shaco can move around more than through just a tiny little circle that people just throw AOE into and burst akali anyway...
"Akali can dash with her R", yea limited times, unlike Nidalee who can keep leaping, throwing spears, and gets a huge distance gap much larger, while doing justas much if not more burst damage easy...
Let's not forget the 1 special glorious thing Akali has above all other assassins though, nigh, above ALL other champions in the game. This unique situation of Akali that no other champ in the game will ever have. -drum rolls-
The ability to be hard countered by literally every champion free of charge with a vision ward trinket upgrade... Or just a small purchase of a vision elixir or ward.... Yea... I consider that a pretty damn fking huge draw back.
The thing about Akali, is she's squishy as hell, easy to cc and can get blown in .0001 seconds if not in the right spot during a team fight, even when NOT focused, simply due to all of the AOE and overloaded kits in the game to this date. It's not a complaint, or whining, it's an observation I see both when I play and when others play her.
There's a reason pro's don't touch her in games that matter.. ever..
Any player with half a brain cell will easily be able to shut down another player using Akali, not because that other player isn't necessarily good, but simply because Akali can be, quite easily shut down..
So, if using a champ that can literally be countered by any champion with a small bit of gold, or a vision ward trinket upgrade.
Has to gank team fights, and choose targets extra carefully over other Assassins, like Zed, Leblanc, and Shaco, who have multiple ways to easily peel away, and or juke via built int mechanics to jump over walls anywhere, and or stealth, etc, and except for Shaco is extremely close range.
(Zed is hybrid, since usually you use his shadow, yada yada to close the vast gap, do damage, and yolo away.. don't deny it).
If all of this is NOT skill.... wtf is?
