If there was an AP version of hexdrinker...

I'm starting to wonder why is an active... I feel like if they removed the mana cost and made the shield scale by level like Maw, it'd be more "fair." Although, due to the nature of mages and whatnot, I would make the shield slightly weaker than Maw but absorb both types of damage (not true and pure) rather than just magic.

Yes. Hexdrinker being auto proc'd holds much more value than its stats alone. I would love an ap version of hexdrinker. Zhonya's sucks so much on most ap champs
