why does it matter? you are banning the strong champions from your team too. if they don't ban leblanc just take leblanc? I don't see how it make any difference.

It's nearly impossible to counter anything that's fed in this game. If you don't like it, learn to swap with the person feeding. Hope they do better against someone else.
Maybe they just really don't do well against those champions. Better to risk facing a FotM champ than a lane matchup that the player will definitely lose.
Now the ones that just ban based on LCS... those people need to go stick their collective heads in a pig.
