Is there any champion that you just hates, for random reasons or not? It doesn't need to be a broken champion.

Mine is Riven. I hate a champion who:

I've never found a consistent strategy to beat
Can flash and stun and kill me in seconds, without giving me time to react
Is popular and firstpicked by many people
I've found many toxic Riven players
Is tanky despite building full damage and is almost impossible to 1x1
Is a hard counter to one of the champions I love the most, Vladimir
Is resourceless
And the main reason of all: Some of my former friends that I've found to not be actual friends, were Riven mains

I just plainly hate her. If I were Riot's proprietor, I would just delete her. I don't care how much money I would lose with that and how many people would be upset, I would just get rid of her without any thougths.

Everytime someone picks her, I just feel a feeling of anger and hate.

They're only really distracting in the loading screen. In game, you can't really see them that well. And by "them", I don't mean the character.

Try playing as Sion vs Kalista. She soloed my tower while ignoring me then kited me to the point that I had to ult to run away.

And not every champ builds thornmail

I just find Jinx really annoying to fight because she outclasses my favorite ADC, Twitch in almost every way

Kalista has some strong points and does great multi target dmg and is for sure a tank destroyer because of how high she can stack her E. But she has some major weaknesses. Champions with spamable slows are extremely tough for Kalista because it lowers her ability to use her passive. This means you can't be kited as easily. The reason she can be a huge pain in the but is that by building a hurricane right away she can farm huge cs with minimal effort and there's almost no way to stop her. She does NOT do well to counter pressure though if you can land a stun to stop her passive jumps away. So you want to play very aggressive and get jungle help early game.

For Fiora, EVERY champ should build a thornmail if she gets ahead of them. The item is extremely strong against her because of how quick she hits. I've had a team that follows my lead on this and has shut down a level 18 Fiora full build while we're all 14-15 catching up because we built thornmail.

Counter building is very important against a lot of champions and it is worth the dps loss and other defensive item loss if you're playing against a champion that can be counter builded. Fiora is a key example of this as this one item (especially if built early against her) will be her undoing.

The reason thornmail is so strong is that it has the ability to hit your attacker HARDER than you're being hit because it applies the damage back to her before your armor value. That means that when she hits, she recieves back her full hit and you only take her damage mitigated by armor. This means if you have 2k hp and she does that dmg to you, she can take over 2k hp dmg basically killing herself. That's why it's a great item to build against her.

When someone picks Shaco two parallel universes are created. Your opponents go to one where Shaco kills the jungler at his blue buff and proceeds to go 5/0 in the laning phase. You go to one where Shaco ganks twice and dies both times, then runs into teamfights and dies.

In particle physics this is known as "fucking shaco god dammit"

Because clearly being average for like 2 months after 3 years or so of dominance is "unviable for this long".

You should really see what the rest of the roster actually looks like.

And there was no tank meta to begin with, just tanks are finally viable again, with admittedly some being OP.

Nasus immediately comes to mind.

If you're top lane, you can NEVER leave at any point in the game, even if your champ excels at teamfighting, or else you've suddenly lost both towers. Doesn't help when Nasus gets one defensive item and you can't do a thing about him from that point on. Yeah yeah, 'just kite him late game', but honestly, I find that his Wither makes it pretty hard to do as soon as he gets it on you.

Doesn't help I distinctly remember having to be a jungler for one particular Nasus: Builts a Triforce and ghostblade and NO defensive items, despite BLATANTLY being behind until I begged him to, and despite him CLEARLY being squishy as fuck, he INSISITED on calling EVERYTHING that killed him "BS." And don't even get me STARTED on the ceaseless pinging.

Tryndamere's also up there too, because I'm roughly bronze-silver MMR so I'm bad. His Mocking Shout, in particular, is a skill I don't feel like i can do anything about: it reduces your AD regardless of if you're facing him or not, so if you don't run, you can't fight back because of the lost AD, but if you run, you're slowed and STILL can't fight back unless you're an AP champ.

EDIT: Oddly, haven't had as much trouble with Riven as a lot of people seem to, at least nothing I remember, but that's usually because when I fight her, she's either not my lane opponent, or if she is my lane opponent, she's bad. Only thing that comes to mind is around Season 3-ish when Jungling as Hecarim, it seemed like allied Riven's would CONSTANTLY take blue buff without asking (Which confused me, because she was a manaless champ, but at the time blue gave 20% CDR, so I guess that's why)

Riven mains. I don't hate the champion specifically, not a fan of her either. But the mains are the worst. They're either the most overly arrogant, condescending children I've ever played with, no matter which team. Or just plain useless and cry the biggest river on the rift... and still don't even put a ward in it.

At least it's not extremely high. Sion lategame actually beats Vayne in a 1v1 if he has thornmail and gromp buff. Doesn't matter how well the Vayne plays. If she's building traditionally, she won't have enough sustain. It's just because of how little lifesteal and AD she builds

As a character, Ezreal was a "hate at first sight" thing for me. I don't care about his gameplay--hell, I play him occasionally--but his character just vexes me to no end. Very few times has he been portrayed in a way that didn't make me want to punch him, and only one of them is actually canon.

When I first started playing, I saw him on a loading screen and basically thought "I don't like you." I didn't have a reason then, though; something about him just annoyed me a bit. I went to his lore in the client, and thought "Now I have a reason not to like you." This was before Riot shortened it to the tiny paragraph it is now.

He's toted as prodigy for little reason other than mapping some tunnels.
He can only use his conveniently-latent magical power because his amulet-gauntlet does all the focusing for him. He was otherwise too lazy and careless to cultivate the talent.
He only competes in the League (regardless of the League no longer being canon) because his glove had handwaves--I mean, mysterious ties to summoning magic, putting the lore reason why he exists as a champion somewhere on the spectrum from "shaky" to "bullshit".
His smug face in every one of his new splashes since release barring one or two, in addition to his arrogance with his quotes, voiced or written. At least Draven's arrogance is so ridiculous it's kind of funny; Ezreal's just makes me wish I could kick him in the dick.

To me, everything he is just reeks of a pretentious Mary Sue. The fact that Riot keeps ship teasing him with my favorite character only adds to the salt.

Again, I don't mind his gameplay; I don't hate you by the transitive property or something for maining him. Though I find it ironic that Ezreal touts his skill so much for being a low-medium difficulty champ at most, and not even having all skillshot abilities (Arcane Shift is a target-free blink with a guided attack on the side; I don't count it)(I know skillshots don't completely determine difficulty).

Funny enough I liked him for all of the reasons you hate him, even in terms of character, lol.

I liked his original lore - supposedly brilliant but easily bored he basically skipped school to go exploring. Even though I agree, I wish he had more in his original background than "dicked around in some tunnels", it at least reinforced his exploration, "Who Needs A Map" theme. Although I also wish more of his skins had dug into his idea. Ezreal actually being developed as a true researcher, archaeologist, etc would have been neat. The only thing they ended up doing was giving him the shitty Explorer skin. But even if he could have been present in some of the splash art for like the Jurassic skins would have been cool xD

And somehow, the fact that he's a sarcastic dick endeared him to me moreso than the other self-absorbed sarcastic dicks in League. I dunno, I was also an underachieving slacker in school so maybe there's some self projection there.

And I love his gameplay; he's been my main since his release. And even though Arcane Gate's projectile locks on, I'd say it is still Skill Shot-esque since it can be easily messed up by any minion or monster. But having a Champion with 4 3.5 skillshots and 0 CC whatsoever, but still holds his own as a viable-but-not-OP Champion (especially considering his W has been gutted so hard) says something about how good he can be played. But that's just me :P

His Q knocks you up. Thats fine i can accept the malphite ult, but then you land and stand around for 3 minutes because it stuns you too. its like an AoE morg Q. Just cant stand him.

I know how to counter him and who to pick into him, he isnt broken. i just hate him.

He gets out of range of the pink's vision so fucking fast you dont know where he is/ Lux Stop. Just stop. It's too easy to play safe as lux. Rengar / Shaco Wow, so much fun to play against. Yasuo You set the standard for what a champion should look like by having 50 fucking passives and no cooldowns that make you look flashy. Fuck you and your mains. I refuse to acknowledge you as a champion even though Riot likes to glorify your design because you're entertaining for the spectators. Nothing with a kit this cancerous should be allowed to be on the roster; Riot should know better than this by now. The League of Mobility reached full speed because of you. You and Lee - this is all your fault. Edit: Forgot Zed I have no resources and can farm freely from a safe distance while you go OOM trying to CS. Lawl, I don't have to worry about that because I have an unnecessary execute on my autoattacks in addition to a spam-happy kit with built-in "oops" buttons.

I have to vote Nidalee . I used to hate Leblanc, Zed, and Fizz with everybody else. but I just ... oh my god Nidalee makes me rage.
You really need a free flash, speed boost, trap, visioin, heal, AP poke, AD damage with no mana costs, attack speed buff... Any champ with 4 damage abilities, plus 2 other usable utility abilities, AND a passive.. .can go die. Not that I want to because I like the idea of shape shifting champs, but Nid, and Cougar form COULD be stand alone champs. (granted you'd have to give them each an ult) but the human form kit doesn't buff the cougar form kit, nor does it work the other way around. hatehatehatehate

I can't stand Kat, not because of how she plays, but because of how people fight her. I feel like every time there is one on the enemy team, I always have a team of scarecrows (no brain, WoZ). If someone has lulu, don't polymorph her randomly while she walks around, polymorph her the minute she uses death lotus, or if your ult is up, use it when she shunpos. Too many bad plays against her. And I still don't know how people lose lane to her. Her poke used to be twice as high.

Tryndamere....I just can't. I hate that his slow is so heavy, and I hate that if you're not slowed, then you lost half of your AD. There's really no winning if you are within any sort of sight range of his. And his ultimate infuriates me.

Enemy Kayles ALWAYS get to late game for me. Whenever I see one jungle, her ganks come out great (idk how...ever). If she lanes, I see her first blood a strong counter at level 2 (yorick, Riven, Darius). I'm jinxed. She always reaches the point of "Well we won a 4v5 but she took two turrets....anyone wanna go stop her?..no?...okay well we'll pretend like we didn't see her take inhibitor......................oh no that's game......anyone want to go protect nexus?.......well nice try amumu...maybe next time you'll pretend to not see her too to save yourself the humiliation of pushing back one of her waves only to be killed in 3 seconds".

Want to counter Riven hard? Play Garen or Volibear

I never lose to her laning phase, her late game snowballing is bullshit, especially with how easy it is for her to KS a couple kills and undo any damage I did during the laning phase.

But even if she is fed, and you are somewhat well farmed those two fuck her up real well.

Nasus and Tryndamere because "beat his team" isn't what I would call satisfying counterplay in Solo Q. Laning against them is one of the most frustrating experiences in the game because if your other lanes lose, your options boil down to "get fucked".
