Open letter on Ranked play

I'm not going to sugar coat this one Riot, your ranking system is complete garbage. You need to have FULL resets every season. If someone goes 7-3 in the initial promos, they need to be in Gold regardless of what they did last season. People can and do improve during the off-season. Why are you punishing players who work to improve? Even if a player is boosted to Gold +, they will quickly fall back down to where they belong. On the flip side, it's exponentially harder for players to climb if they are placed too low.

I'll make it easy for you, here is where people should place:

0 wins=B5 1 win=B4 2=B3 3=B1 4=S5 5=S3 6=S1 7=G5 8=G3 9=G1 10=P5

If you can sweep your promos, you definitely don't need to be in a low ELO. If you win 70% or more, you deserve to be in a higher ELO, period. This would also shorten Q times in the higher ELOs since there would be more players available. It's basically a win/win for all involved.
