Why don't people promote movies by telling riot to make a skin based off the movie

how would it be copyright if someone like Pixar is giving riot permission to make skins to promote the new toy story 4 or something. Plus movies take a long time to make, the skin would probably be done wayyy before the release of the movie, they just need to tell riot in advance. Also skins are actually really easy to make. You can download skins, AWESOME SKINS, for free. Skins aren't hard to make, they would waste like a month on it max lol.

Because it may not be only Pixar who owns the rights to the product. And while they could tell them in advance, you have to remember that skins get worked on all the time. this would mean that what ever they are working on, or going to work on will have to be put on hold and then the skins would need to be made only to have them be waited on till Riot, and the other companies involved says its ok to be released. I mean there is just way too much to put into for this to actually work, and thats if they can find companies that would allow this. Companies like Disney, Marvel, DC Comic, etc are very territorial about their products and who gets what. So i highly doubt despite being possibly the number one online pc game, its nothing impressive to what those companies i have listed make!
