Riots real problem that needs to be dealt with NOW
We typically do not have the slightest clue what you guys are doing. you think you are communicating, but you're just giving us ambiguous statements that are meant to placate us, with no real substance behind them.
It took just over a year to develop this entire game from scratch with 40 champs, then they released another 24 or so per year for a while. We get just a few per year now (which is actually a good thing at this point) so what are the developers working on? Why could a few people on limited budget make 40 champs in a year, but we are waiting 3 years on a rework that was supposed to be "soon"? I'm not saying you guys aren't working, obviously a billion dollar corporation isn't paying people to make finger puppets, so what are you doing RIGHT NOW!? we don't know, and that's the problem.
Trolls have been an issue from the start, I know you guys know this, so what are you doing about it? what are you working on? what are your ideas? We don't know and it makes us feel like you don't care if we get trolled in 8/10 of our games. I know you must be doing something, so talk to us, tell us, don't just ignore the posts on this stuff. So what are you guys doing about it today?
There have been champions that were said they were going to get balanced, and then you guys disappear, like cass, and we honestly don't know if you're working on her or not. Can we look forward to changes or not? You guys said you were going to, then a year later we still haven't heard anything,** what are you doing!? **
Critical information to the game has been lacking and actually decreasing over time. We can't see numbers or stat ratios on abilities without a 3rd party service. MMR is completely hidden, making matchmaking difficult to anticipate. We never know if our reports do anything, and never get context on our own punishments unless we are voluntarily named and shamed by lyte himself. Why!? What are you doing to increase clarity in the game today!? We don't know, and that's the problem.
TL;DR - I could go on and on with problems in communication, but the real issue is that we have no idea what you guys are actually working on, whether or not you even see our complaints, or why it takes half a friggin year to implement a simple change. We don't know what goes on over there, and that is the problem.
