@Riot Apparently since it's not gameplay I want to know why my LP dropped severely

Why did I go from winning 20 LP a game, to 15 LP per win, but losing 20 LP now instead of my usual 15 with things being the same as before?

I read the article about matchmaking and nothing adds up to why this severe of change happened.

Get your win% higher above 50 and you will begin getting more lp for wins and less for losses.

LP gain / loss is because of the hidden matchmaking rating. if your matchmaking rating is lower than your rank that will happen. to raise your mmr you just need to win more than 50% of your games for a while.
