To those complaining about leaverbuster

You have to realize that you are not the only person that matters.

I have seen countless players complaining about their punishments for leaving, every single one claiming legitimate reasons, even though we all know that you weren't punished cuz you left one game that one time your grandpa had a heart attack. Of course real life is more important. Lots of stuff happen that can cause you not to be able to sit in front of your pc for half an hour without getting up. We all understand that. What you are failing to realize is that it isnt all about you.

When you afk, 9 other people are affected and have their game ruined. YOU, regardless of legitimacy, have wasted at least 20 min of 9 other peoples time. That is a MINIMUM of 3 hours total time you stole from other human beings. So if you afked for good cause (which is unlikely to happen in amounts frequent enough to get banned if only done on legitimate occasions) then you don't have to feel guilty when you get the ban, you only did what you had to do, but you still have to take your medicine.

Let me give you the age old question - do you arrest a starving man that stole some bread? And the answer is, of course you do! He only did what any rational human would do in the situation, but if you excuse a bread thief because he was starving, you will notice that every bread thief will then suddenly confess they are also starving. Justice still must be served.

TL;DR - if you have to leave a game, then leave, but you still deserve the punishment, because thats how life works.
