Okay so I'm silver 4 but I've only played the 10 games to get me out of placement. So I was thinking I was going to try to play a little more ranked seeing as I have only played 10... Except I don't want to lose my rank. I'm not a very good player and I'm scared if I play ranked I will lose rank. So can someone give me a brief but detailed explanation of gaining and losing rank?

On a side note, don't want any ******* rudeness here.

You win ranked you gain ~20lp. Get to 100 lp you play best of 3 games to promote.

You lose ranked game you lose ~14lp. Lose a game at 0 lp and you demote.

If you've just joined a league and you're sitting at 0lp, you get five grace games to get away from 0lp.
