Why I play League of Legends

...to be honest I'd forgotten why. After playing the game for a long time and occasionally trying to climb the elo ladder I'd gotten into a routine of playing as I could. I didn't rage, I'm a friendly person but it was kind of all grey.

I don't know what sparks it for everyone but for me it was trying DOTA (which I don't really enjoy) and remembering those first games when I just did whatever seemed like fun. Instead of being annoyed at myself when I got surprised, I remembered that heart pounding moment of excitement in a tight situation. I remembered how I used to play mid lane assassins where it was always about who could outsmart the opponent not who could outfarm the opponent. I remembered the crazy fun I had.

So I challenge everyone who reads this, remember the things that were core to making League fun for you, remember how awesome a game Riot has made for us.

P.S. you can always go back to getting frustrated at Riot afterwards if you want :P
