Haha yeah, skt has always been strong as a team even with Faker being one of the best or the very best mid laners at the moment. Still I find the fact Riot put this in hilarious

Faker is overrated. Maybe if people spent less time camping the living shit out of him and as a result serving him triple kills on a platter, he wouldn't steamroll every game.

His numbers are so inflated this season. Anytime he had a hard matchup that he might lose, they had Easyhoon play that game.

He is still a great player, but nowhere near what he used to be.

That's another thing I forgot about, Easyhoon subbing so many games for him (don't get me wrong EZH is a very good player) but he can't have someone play all his risky matchups for him otherwise it's going to get problematic once he really has to show up for the team.

Easyhoon was typically subbed in to play against the lower tier teams this split...I dunno what you're talking about.

Easyhoon was subbed in when the other team had a very strong mid laner. Faker hardly ever played against any top mids whether it was the season or tournaments.

People, casters and pros agree he's the best midlaner of all time because of his diverse champion pool, plays and consistency, but I'd say he's not the best right now. He's one of the best for sure though.

I'd say he's more iconic best rather than really "the best".

He got the rep from being one of the first mids to roam to other lanes. He also was a LB main when she was utterly broken. He never lost a game on her until she got nerfed this last time. He always plays meta picks, which is of course smart, but that is what made him so hard to beat.

Don't get me wrong, he is a LoL Hall of Famer for sure, but he is overrated this season.

So you consider Master Yi, Riven, and Irelia meta picks for mid lane? Not trying to have a fight here or anything but he definitely experiments in the mid lane.

The simple fact is that Riven and Irelia have ALWAYS been OP, that's why Faker takes them mid. The Master Yi mid is definitely impressive, but he only takes it as a counterpick into very specific matchups.

Like I said, he is a great player, but he only takes very strong champions into any matchup. That is why he has had such great success.
