Riot's take on elo boosting.

Some guy created a thread showing a player that was obviously apart of elo boosting. This dude sucked the entire season 3, and the beginning of this season. Recently, his stats have been crazy, like 25/2 and winning all his games and he is up to bronze 1 promos. He also mentioned that this guy was probably hacking. I don't know anything about hacking, but he said whenever he tried to fight this player specifically, he would get attempting to reconnect. Went into some flood scripting that I know nothing about. What does Riot do? Instead of acknowledging the person that pointed it out as doing a good job, they remove the thread. We play a game that exposing a cheater gets more punishment than cheating. A game that intentionally feeding and trolling gets less punishment than a person bitching at the person intentionally feeding and trolling.

that was me, riot sent me a nice message, i understand their take on the matter, its sometimes better to lay in the weeds and find a good strategy instead of just pulling a d day, they need more information, but riot stands to do well by their community and even able to afford east coast servers, if they can link these hackers to their mains and permabann them, better yet permabann every account they boosted.

kids are addicited to this game, they will QQ and come back.

i play alot of other games, but i always end up coming back to league, even if i swear it off, but the udp flood has grown worse.

I wrote a thread exposing a bot and it got deleted too, apparently you can't report anyone here at boards...I'm not reporting on someone I'm reporting an IP farming account that should be deleted before its sold...but no that's not how it works.

well i just saw attempting to reconnect for the last time, im just going to gain mmr in dota 2 spamming spirit breaker and shadow shaman, i need a long break from league, when riot decides to start banning all the bot of legends users ill come back, peace.

Yeah you right a support ticket then get an automated message then a "we'll look into it but we can't tell you how/when/if we actually are going to look into it" message. :D rito gaymes

I jumped from Bronze 5 to Bronze 2 and back again all season 3.

I read articles on how to improved my cs, studied strategy, and flat out hard practiced it all in ranked games and normals during this season. I finally hit Silver after almost two season of straight failure.

I'm trying for gold now and I'm still learning and improving. Sometimes people take the time to try to improve. Competition compels some to do it. I feel that this blanket accusation of elo-boosting is tantamount to accusing someone of being a witch or communist.

Instead of aiming to burn someone at the stake and inflamming the issue beyond the point of conversation why dont you try to assist in figuring out a solution.

Or at least trust that the company in question has your best interest at heart. Short of that you're just slapping a pair of horns on the subject and calling it the devil.

This may interest some of you trying to help.

I've grown pretty tiresome of the situation as well, but I think we have more of a voice than some people expect.

If they deleted the thread, it's most likely to contain the situation, usually if more people find out about this "bug" and or "hack" 5/10 of the users will attempt to find it if it has been released publicly therefore enabling more people to use and abuse this. You are not helping by reporting it publicly, you are helping reporting it directly though.

People wonder why I got demoted back into silver lol. Almost every single game I played in rank was either "attempting to reconnect" everytime the jungler comes. Or my team mass dc's while the enemy team is pushing in our turrets. The servers have been God awful combining that with drop hacks, and ddos . . . I just have no desire to play. I know many people "never have to deal with that." But, I do, and I get it all the time. It's stressful, and annoying. Combine that with I haven't had less than 120 ping since they herp derped the servers back in early season 3. And they're still "working on it." They're never going to fix it, and are frankly morons. It's sad the likes of Smite actually got it right the first time, but LoL still can't even after 5 years. I'm not going to lie . . . overall, Smite has been a superior game in regards to better skins, and ping, and your champs/gods actually can do something. If you want a support, cool. But you don't need one. You can double jungle, triple jungle, have three top one mid and one bot. It really doesn't matter. Hell, you can even have an "all magic team" and still do well. In LoL they balance around abunch of butt hurt 17 year olds in LCS that can only play "x" way with "x" champion. It annoys me.
