So if you play NA server your game HAS TO BE in English only? English is not the only language in North America. English is not even the official language of the United States. Why do we have to do tricks with the files so we can change the game to the language we want? Who decided something as ignorant (and xenophobic) as that?

There is technically no official language but government business is required to be conducted in english so in all practicality it is the official language.
There is nothing xenophobic about trying having 1 unified language so people can communicate properly in a game where that is important. And it makes sense to choose both the most use langue in the region and the language of the parent company.
