How to exit the client when in game?

When you're not in a game, click on the cog icon next to the "X" button in the top-right corner of the screen. Then use the menu on the left side of the settings interface to select "GENERAL" under where it says "Client". In the general client settings menu, there should be an option that says "Close client during game". Check the box next to it.
