Forgot how to win

Hey everyone. I am in need of your help. I've been on a losing streak just now, and it feels like I've just plain forgotten how to win. My team and I could have a huge lead, but not be able to close it out; I could be doing okay (like 2/1 in lane) but my team is struggling to farm up and not die; or I myself could be having a rotten match and just under performing. But no matter what it is, I always seem to pull out a loss and have no reliable ways to pull out a win anymore.

It feels like I've tried everything. I'm nothing special, I still forget to ward from time to time, I am still learning how to get that perfect cs number by 10 min, and I still make mistakes in my spell rotations from time to time. But despite that I want to get better, but it seems like I'm just getting worse instead.

How do you guys do it? How do you just stop being bad, and carry? How do I take a small lead (2/1 in lane) and snow ball it to an unstoppable victory?

I am a mid laner main, and I will prefer top lane if I can't mid. Only role I cannot play is jungle. I've been alternating between mid and top lane a lot recently. But if I get a champ that is good at getting kills, I can't push objectives effectly. If I play a champ that takes objectives well, I can't kill champs as well, or I don't get the peel I need from my team. If I play that front line champ, then I can't get kills or push objectives. What do?

It really feels like it was easier to win 2 years ago than it does now. Am I really regressing in skill? Please help. I would really like to make gold before the end of the season.

I run into stuff like that from time to time. I suggest you go make a sandwich and watch a show for a bit after a match like that. It could be that you're rusty or that your team isn't the best, but either way it always helps to make sure you don't go on tilt.

That said if you're ahead you should go for objectives. I mean constantly. If you're top or mid rush your tower down, and then help the other lane with theirs. If both are down, help bot or take dragon. Do everything in your power to get your team gold while denying the enemy team the same.

You are too much in your head man... How much money do you make from playing? Now, how much have you lost due to your poor performances? Yeahhhhhhh, same as me.. $0!

Get back to the basics, go kick the crap out of some bots, get your mechanics and spell rotation down there a bit, go to a mode and play the game for FUN!!! Tap into your friends to help you out when you are down, normals with them, Team builder with them...

Now, if you are finding you are having trouble against a certain champion... Pick them up on free rotation and study them like you want to play them.. Learn the pro's and con's, once you get your hands on them, learn where their power lags and spikes, and attack them at those moments...

Also.. At the end of the day, realize that everyone you are playing in ranked or norms is just like you... And it's just a game...

So get out of your head and have some fun man!!!
