Should you do your Ranked Promos at the start of the new season, or wait it out?

Just as the title says, I know the current season isn't even over yet, and we still have a while to go until season 7 starts, but just a question: Should I do my ranked promos as soon as the new season starts, I kind of want to, but is it a bad idea? I want to start climbing as soon as possible, but I don't know what the games will be like. Whether or not I'll be placed with higher ranked players or lower ranked players. Does it matter when I start? Basically, does it matter when I start my promos, can I do them immediately or is it best to wait it out a little bit? (at the beginning of season 7)

I wanna say wait it out a bit because you're going to probably get people who shouldn't be in your games that's hardly around your own previous rank also or you may get the even odds and get someone whose really good and someone whose really bad. Unless you don't care or can stand the struggle of climbing then go for it, but imo I'd say wait it off for a bit. I can't stand the climb playing with people who aren't my level or can't seem to pass the basic common sense knowledge and it frustrates me and honestly tilts me to the point where I tend to get a toxic.. but if you don't care winning or losing as stated and can deal with that kind of stuff then I say go for it, more power to ya.

In the end, goodluck though Cx

Let me explain you the 4 ways of doing it. 1: Do it early: Doing it early gives you chances of getting into games with higher elo players ( if you have at least plat mmr after your reset) So you can end up beeing carried more or stomped more depending on your luck . 2: Do it 1-2 months after season starts: Best way to do it imo ranked has settled down and you gonna be matched with people around your skill level but in order to do good you need to know how to carry cause as mentioned you gonna be put with players of around the same caliber. 3: Do it mid season Imo the worst decision since mmr is gonna be a mess due to boosting and tilters etc etc only do it that late if you are comfortable with solocarrying. 4: late season is a hit or miss just like early season due to smurfs and boosters. imo best way to go with it is around 1-2 months after season starts. I usually play on a smurf at the start of the season get a feel see where i end upafter like 50games and later do my main when im warmed up and have a good understanding of the current meta. And that's it .. i guess the best way

Are you extremely good at the game? Like Diamond 1 + calibre? Then do it early and just carry hard.

Are you pretty bad for your elo? Feel like you've been carried to where you are? Do it early and hope to get carried by the diamond 1 + players above.

Are you a typical player? Silver to Platinum level, belong where you are (mostly)? Then wait a few weeks at least, get all the boosted animals and all the really hardcore people to where they belong so you can play where you belong.

In my opinion, if you are super competitive you'll want to do it immediately. If you're patient and not burning that much for fights, you might as well wait it out. Ranked is going to be extremely uneven in the beginning, even more so than usual, both due to people not yet being accustomed to new changes (and a potential new champion) and because there will be a lot of different ranks squashed together into one place.

tl:dr; Ranked will be even more unstable than usual. You might get diamonds on your team, you might get silvers. Same goes for the enemy team.

If you wait it out, there could be a lot of level 30 players that got lucky and carried in their first 2 games, so now they're in silver and feed every game.
