Probably just a luck thing, but it seems like I will go on win streaks, and then when I rank up i will go on a big losing streaks. My performance is USUALLY the same, a few too many deaths here and there with some good games. I was just wondering if anyone else feels this way?

elo hell exists at every division... those players haven't proven they are worthy of dropping an entire division.
Well, theoretically you should have a 50% win rate, so if you win a lot in a row, the game owes you a loss in a row. Which isn't always the case, but it happens a lot. Also, remember that it's not just your teams, it's you as well, you may go on these winning streaks, but bad games do happen.
i think it is apart of people still being truly placed because until season 4 (i think maybe 5) you could que up with your diamond and plat friends and get carried now that they are on their own they are falling back to there true rank as such people in higher ranks now adays feel like they are playing worse because they are not really soppost to be in that rank
