Champion summoner names

Can you have your summoner name be the same as a champ? I was thinking of it but now that I check, every champion name is taken by a level 6 account with no runes and masteries, so I'm assuming Riot won't let anyone take the names. But am I wrong? Can you actually take them?

you can't, they do it so people can have the champs name in their name but not the name itself. I think in some areas there were a couple that slipped through do to someone taking the name before it got released though.
