I Refuse To Play With The Meta/FotM Champions

100% Refuse too do it and not because I'm a "hipster" or because I'm "trolling," I do it because I have fun with the game. Every time I play a champion that is considered bad and I smash my opponents into the ground with them I feel so satisfied on every level. People fail to realize how much power and how much the "older" champions or less played champions have to offer.

I feel nothing whenever I play a champion that is seen all the time and banned all the time. Every time I try I feel bored too death because I have to play against that champion all the time and therefore it makes it zero fun for me. Nothing makes me more irritated than when I am in champion select and my teammates are struggling and sweating to get a FotM pick, it's painful to see. Or whenever I am last pick and they tell me "Oh Lissandra would be nice or Irelia." No, I will not play those champions because they bore the shit out of me. I play too have fun but I also play to win and I am going to win however I so desire.

If you are someone who see's an unconventional pick and starts spamming the game is over and that someone should dodge or to report, I will 100% of the time report you and add you to my block list and mute you in-game.

I also don't just pick unconventional champions I play them in unconventional lanes/jungle. Just because you aren't used to seeing something does not make it horrible, it just means you aren't used to it. How do you think weird shit like AD Fizz jungle becomes a thing? Because people who aren't afraid to analyze the game come up with things you wouldn't believe would happen.

Lissandra - Boring. Jinx - Boring. Irelia - Boring. JarvanIV - Boring. Vi - Extremely boring. etc...

Gragas - Fun as hell. Darius - Loads of fun. Braum - Lots of fun. Diana - Lots of fun. Garen - Demacia. etc...

So to anyone who see's an uncommon pick and you start flaming blaming the game on that person, I hate you.

Personally, I love Taric. It's always fun wrecking someone, but double so with the Armor of the Fifth Age skin. ;)

i bougth reksai cause he was in the meta and i heard hes a pretty good jungler but i honestly feel much better playing junglers i liked such as nidalee shaco and recently amumu (nidalee might be in the meta now ) but i played her before she was :P i think its best to pick champs you like because these wil be easier to learn since your having a good time

at first i had a terrible time playing reksai since he lacks of cc and has no real chase potential either but since i saved so much rp to get him i felt kind of sad to just let him go to waste so i tried just having fun with his abilitys the weird vision and the tunnels and afther a while i actualy got the hang of him a bit ( stil not that good with him but hey atleast im having fun )

what, since when lissandra is boring and darius, barnum and diana are out of meta

i personally have another rule, if a champion is adorable i play them, if not i don't. thankfully ahri, katarina, nidalee, janna etc are adorable... (:

I don't play the meta champions... Mostly because I don't own them.

hi, let me bump this thread cause i found it on google. fuck the meta and i hope people taking it seriously still will eventually be cured of the disease that meta is. I hardly own any meta champ (such as lee sin kalista vayne blablabla) and i will pick lissandra support or taric top if i feel like it. If anyone has a problem with that kindly build yourself a cupboard, go sit in it and push yourself into the ocean.
