I dont want to sound rude or something but for me it's Straight FacePalm...

You remm. when Lux had FinalFunkeln ? you , Dear Riot decide change name , reason was: hard spellin or something .

and Rat tat atattaatatat something is not hard to spell and for sure its better than Spray and Pray.. and for sure it's lore whise.. (sarcasm ON) I love Twitch but for me it's too mutch uhh..:(

ps. Dangerous moment , LCS and shoutcaster shouts (heat battle) "Rat tat atat atattatatt" instead of Spray and pray , for real ?!

Honestly I don't know what the big deal is about the ult name change. Personally I'd be okay with either. Yes one has a pun in it but is it really that big of a deal for anyone outside of shoutcasting? And as for the lore I like it, and from what I can tell changes little to nothing about Twitch himself.

Now granted I don't play Twitch often so I can't say I'm that invested, but all in all the VU seems much better. I mean hell, he has legs finally. There was whole debacle about vandal Twitch getting his shades which Riot fixed, but other than that I don't really see why people hate it so much without even trying it out yet.

Hey, I simply do not understand why it's bad, and I don't mean that in a negative way I mean it as a completely neutral question because I'm actually really curious. What is it exactly that makes you dislike the new name?

Is it the pun? The over-the-top nature of the name? Or just the fact it isn't 'Spray and Pray'? Or maybe even a combination of those or something else entirely?

I love lore. And yes it's too "PUN" . Let's go deeper. You are in the middle of the fight right ? Dangerous situation and now imagine "Rat tataatat something" (shouting) when you casting your ult. Personal Opionion: It removes for me the Heat, Dangerous situation.

Ah so it breaks the immersion value, that's a legitimate point and concern when it comes to a game. While I personally do not hold immersion value in a MOBA as highly myself I can appreciate when someone else does.

I will say the seriousness of the lore doesn't mesh well with Twitch's apparant 'devious smile' nature and the punny ult name. I like them both individually but it's like pushing Sweeney Todd and Alien next to each other in my opinion.

I agree stop this heresy Riot pls. Seriously it's like there is a shaman that cursed riot team. Every time they do something cool for a champ (Twitch VU here), they come with an other really bad one (ratatata wtf). Same thing with xerath, most changes were cool and then you use his ultimate. Stop that rito..

I would argue Xerath's new ult is the most fun thing about him now. He is truly a super long range mage now. Not really a good example in my opinion.

Fair enough if you don't like it. But you have to admit, thematically and design-wise it fits Xerath quite well. Not going to go into too much detail since this thread isn't about Xerath, but there ya go.

you are missing the entertainment factor man. You are playing a mutated rat, how does Rat-ta-tat-tat not make you say well played Riot, well played.

only issue with the rename is that he uses a cross bow in all but one of his skins... the onomatopoeia Rat-ta-tat-tat was/is typically used for machine guns and sub machine guns. If you are going to change the spell name it would probably be a good idea to make his cross bow a bit more like a machine gun in some way to make them match. The typical onomatopoeia for a crossbow is twang or thwang, just sayin.
