Can someone explain reason behind Skarner Nerfs at PBE ? ( I know it's only PBE, but PANIC MODE ON)

Crystal Slash ( Q ) damage lowered to 18/28/38/48/58 from 20/32/44/56/68

Crystal Slash ( Q ) movement speed lowered to 2/3/4/5/6% from 3/4/5/6/7%

Why ? Does that mean he was to fast in jungle or what !? i jus't dont get it..

Riot don't like him. They like more blind monks who can do everything.

If they were to take damage away from his Q, why not put it on his passive? Like this you would do the same damage if you get to proc it.

He was and remains really fast in the jungle after those changes!

Skarner's pattern is evolving so that it provides more utility via the passive stun. For that extra utility he was supposed to sacrifice some damage. You'll notice not only does he stun people right now, but he murders many champions with ease.

Why does a champion with clear cut weaknesses (skarner-kiting, enemies that run away from him) get nerfed before a champion with barely any weaknesses( lee sin, explain his weakness please and skill cap is not an answer)

Late-game Skarner is a beast, with his stickiness (MS bonus on Q) and his high base damage in a tanky build. These changes are probably meant to make him a little bit less punishing, especially when he's ahead.

I don't see an issue with the changes. It's just a numbers tweak. Just my opinion...

It's a 10 damage nerf. If you build him AD, there's no problem for you there. He was doing huge damage with the Q stacks. Mostly after you bought Wit's End, you won't even notice the change.

He's just too strong right now and needed some tuning down. This might do, but he even need even more nerfs (take it from a D3 who has like 50+ games with Skarner).

i felt really bad when i saw that. for how much i was wondering about a good reason to nerf him (again), i still haven't find one...it's a shame

Why was he nerfed? Well, obviously because a second movement speed buff, a 2.5 second ranged slow, and a consistent hard CC is much unhealthier than some piddly permaslow that can be outrun on initiation. Maybe now Riot can realize that he really didn't have these problems before. Or not.

All this talk about how Lee needs a nerf.

Has it occured to anyone that maybe Lee sin is only good if the person playing him is good? His initiate requires he lands a skillshot, his escape requires he has a safe target Not in the fight, and even so is still rather short range, and his only other ability is a slow/damage burst. If you use any of those abilities improperly, ANY of them, you are screwed.
