New ADC needing help

Hello guys, I've played every single role in this game happily, but I started to realize something.. I haven't really gave ADC much attention, I have here and there but.. I keep giving up on that specific role, going to other roles just saying "Forget it" to the ADC role.

Is there any possible way to make me want to play ADC more often, personally.. I love the idea of having a support by my side all game, thinking of strategies to help win the lane with him/her. Well I'm mostly asking for help to become a pretty decent ADC where I can tell my self in ranked "Yeah I got this, I can do this." Instead of "Eh.. I hope I do good."

So can you guys that actually play ADC or have ever been stuck in my position tell me what to do as an ADC to get better in general? Any small things that can help will be very appreciated. Currently I'm in love with playing Lucian right now, same for Corki, something about them I found very fun compared to the other ADC's.

Take my advice lightly, because ADC is my worst role by far, but I think the most helpful thing to make yourself a better ADC and have a more enjoyable time as one is to find a support to duo with. Its so much easier and more pleasant when you have somebody who understands your playstyle and can react accordingly, plus its always good having someone you know and can communicate with by your side.

Other than that, focus on CSing, when to trade/engage and when not to, and how to handle individual champ matchups.

I'll play some support for Ya. Playing ADC is much more fun when you know your support and trust your support, ign is JustQ33. Hit me up.

First thing you should take into consideration is the role of support. Support is a very unique role in the sense that they're there to insure that you get gold and that the rest of the team gets ahead. So although during laning phase they might be there the whole time, their role changes considerably as the game goes on.

Secondly, ADC is quite a make or break role BUT you are the one role no matter if you're late or early game that has to have an impact in the game at all times. Easily the most carry able role in the game, you are also the one that everyone wants to kill. So theres a lot of pressure in the role.

If the idea of hard carrying games excites you and you want to be the one to put out the most damage, id consider pursuing ADC. Thats not to say that there are support adcs (ashe, sivir) that offer more than just high damage output, but for the most part teams will consider what they can do in team fights based on your abilities.
