then wtf is bronze division for? to show that one is worse than unranked players who just reached lv30?

There are people that play worse than Silver players, that is no secret. Even though SIlver makes up the vast majority of the player base, there is still a lot of players that don't play at that caliber.
Its not fair to silver players who have to carry bronze players that shouldn't be there, and its not fair to bronze players getting paired against better players who will likely just destroy them. I'm sure this kind of thing probably still happens in Low Silver, it could still be a lot worse. Imagine the ENTIRE league of Bronze, crammed into low Silver. It would be an absolute joke.
Having a Bronze tier is fair for players that have that kind of MMR. Gives them a chance to play against players of equal skill level, and ample opportunity to improve against their peers and move up.
If Silver is average, then it makes sense that some players will be below the average point.
Bronze doesn't necessarily mean you're bad at this game. If you think you're good, but you're stuck in Bronze it could be because you keep following bad calls. In other words, if you listen to Bronzies, you're gonna be a Bronzie.
Because for an mmr system to work you have to start at the midpoint. Remember, some people are better than average and some are worse. That's what Bronze is for. The folks who are lower than the average.
Mmr starts at the average level of play a fresh Lvl 30. By level 30 you oughta play around this level, if not they have bronze which makes it easier for the ones having issues with the game. They'll thus be able to find people at the same level of skill as themselves.
Average starting mmr is silver IV actually, so I'd say low to mid silver being the expected level of skill. :)
Starting off higher doesn't really mean you're better.
It has to start you out somewhere. MMR usually starts mid/low silver. Then as you play games it balances out. I don't understand what you are angry about.
Everyone should just start Bronze 5 and work their way up, that would be fun.

If average unranked is mid-high silver.. then 50% of the players are worse than that?
Personally I'd like to see copper->bronze-Silver :) There are some half decent bronze players with back luck on matching that would be silver+ already if they didn't get matched with the 100% trolls.
