You're in Silver, there's no freelo..

Pants are Dragon posted a list of the best 5 champions in each position the other day. In 6 months, I've had roughly 6-8 people play Twisted Fate on my team mid-lane. In the past 2 days, I've had 3 people play him and do terrible. Why is this? You might wonder. Pants are Dragon said that Twisted Fate was a very strong pick for mid lane in this patch, which obviously means freelo. Don't get me wrong, I love Twisted Fate because he was the first champion I ever bought; but most champions are difficult to play in their own way, and the champions listed in that list are all champions that require some sort of unique difficulty. The only champions that are truly freelo are champions that you only really need to put points in skills and auto attack, like Yi, Shyvana, Jax, etc. Obviously, somebody who is more skilled and picks up these champs, yes it's freelo. But when you're not there skill wise, nothing is freelo for you. I'm not knocking people or saying I'm better, I'm trying to tell you that I'd much rather have you playing your 100+ game mid laner than to play what you heard was freelo for the 2nd time ever..

I've always found his tier lists to be a bit shallow in their information unless it pertains to jungle which is his main role.

The way he puts it out there it's like you can blind pick each of these champions into whatever you want the first time you play them, but boy does that result in disaster. Like if you blind pick TF and find you're against an assassin, you're life is going to be quite unpleasant. Not to mention playing him into any champion in mid who can interrupt your ultimate channel.

My favorite people are the counter pickers in bronze/silver. They'll play a champion they've literally never played before because a website says it's a counter to the champion they're against.
