So I was playing today and I got an s rank with you and got a void noctunre shard. Then I see a helmet on the bottom left corner of the frame and it said legacy content at the bottom. I don't think this is a holiday skin like frost fire annie. Does this mean it's a skin you can't buy at all. If so, then I hope I get championship shyvana and ssg talon some day.
Legacy are skins that are discontinued and are only available through special events and chests
Void Noctunre is i believe a retired skin hence why its a legacy. So its not part of a special event. With Riot has more (better) skins come out they basically put those types of older skins in the "Vault" and can still be gotten through Hextech, or Mystery Gifting, just not available to be bought in the store. They do come back in the store though usually once a year.
I'm pretty sure championship Shyvana comes back every time worlds rolls around with the other championship skins now
