Why does yasuo windwall block everyone of vel'koz abilities except his ult.

Its really hard to get away from him when he can windwall your knock up, which visually doesn't make sense.

He can only block projectiles, your Q and E. Your ult is a laser so not a projectile nor is your W. It does visually make sense as your are shooting a ball of energy towards him which he then blocks.

I dont know if I can explain it but ill try. Yasuo's Windwall can block only PROJECTILES this means when something is fired to his wall if blocked. Vel'Koz's Ult is not a profectile his ult is not fireing it just appear in a line. Its the same as Lux's ultimate.

Sorry about my english! and I might be wrong Yasuo

Vel'Koz E sends tendrils to the target location and that's what windwall is blocking. Vel'Koz W rift is opened from a "knife" that ciuts it and that's what's being blocked Vel'koz R, on the contrary, is a continous ray which doesn't count as a projectile.

try angle your q, use the power of geometry. also u can farm super safe with q since it refunds mana on minion kills now.

IDK man Yasuo's windwall is really funky with what it can and cannot block, for example, Kata's bouncing blades, it will block it if she throws it at him and he windwalls it, but he can't block it if it bounces off a minion to him, which is just stupid. Or how it only half blocks fizz's shark and just stops it as it hits the windwall, or sometimes it will just go through it which happens a lot.

Yas's windwall is soooo buggy l can hardly even tell what's blockable now a days, because one time it will block it and the next it won't with the same timing.
