Orb skin drop experiences

Hello guys, I just got enough tokens to get myself an orb. What I am curious about is whether or not the skin I get is related to champions I played a lot lately similar to personal shop. The reason I ask is that my friend got Snow Day Graves and he was playing Graves lately for the first time, he is a one trick but he didnt get a skin for his main but rather the thing he played last few days. What are your experiences because I dont want to get a shit skin just because I am playing champs that have shitty legacy skins like I got for personal shop ??
