The amount of trolls in this game is disgusting
Go from silver 1 to silver 5 (because rito says fuck you in provisionals for some reason) and have gotten nothing but trolls. It's sad that nothing is done about it either.

Yeah, you just have to grind it out at low levels, once you are hitting mid Gold, it all but disappears (relatively to entry level play). Just "/mute all" until you hit high silver gold again. It will save you alot of grief and make it alot easier to grind, generally noone says anything helpful at lower levels.
Play blinds, or find someone who will play with you and doesn't take ranked seriously enough to go on tilt at the drop of a hat. Heck I will dual Q with you if you wan't. I can't promise you we will win every game, but I can promise that I will play moderately well, I won't throw on purpose, and I won't rage. I can even smurf if you don't want to be matched against higher players, but I prefer not to since that's not fair to those we are matched against.
Once Caveat though, If you are silver 5, its because you are silver 5. I was Silver 2 last season for example. However if you plug my Win/Loss Ration from normal's into any of the Elo calculators it place me in high-mid platinum. You know what that means? It means I am silver 2 until I personally take the time and effort to change my actual ranked score. Thinking you are better then the game thinks you are is an easy path to go on tilt and makes it a lot harder to play the game much less improve.

Did he get changed, I am old school SSoTP and he is actually really good right now, might be a good time to bring it back :P
Here's the thing about trolls; yeah, they'll almost 100% ruin your game. However, be sure you don't troll yourself. Sometimes, games with trolls and afk's are winnable. It happens, especially in bronze. Lots of bronze players have no idea what it is to prioritize objectives.
One game we had a legit troll that fed Jayce 20 kills before 25 minutes. He was 1-shotting us. But when we caught him out and cc'd him, the enemy team fell apart. Because we had some tower-killing potential, we were able to destroy their towers, prioritize objectives, and take the win. We even got in there and had our jungler steal dragons. Even with all that power, contesting Baron was still a possibility; as far ahead as Jayce was, he wasn't building any tank items, so a combination of Baron's damage and our cc and damage were enough to force them out of the baron pit.
After game that you had a troll, just report them. If they are real trolls they will get banned, as long as people are reporting them. I had someone that trolled me in champ select. I was going to go teemo top, so he banned teemo. He wasn't trying to make us lose, but it got our team arguing bad. But then, I wrecked mid, while asking them to do 2 things. 1) Give it a chance, and 2) see this through. We won that game.
Honestly, it's an awareness issue. A lot of people forget to report the trolls. If everyone on the your team, and possibly the enemy team reports them, Riot's system will take care of them. If enemies don't want to report the troll, bring up the point that that troll had a roughly 50% chance of being placed on their team. It's why you always report an enemy troll, just as much as an ally troll.
